Steven Taylor Owen, 60, died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to theAmerican Heart Association or a charity of choice .

Steve had worked for Haggar Slacks for 13 years as an operations analyst.At the time of his death he worked at the Golf Center ofArlington. He was passionate about golf and had a kind heart. He will be missed by his family and a host of loyal friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Owen; mother, Shirley; and brother, Gary. Survivors: Sister, Glenda Owen and husband, Kevin Dubose, of Houston and their sons, Travis and Ryan Dubose; former wife, Debbie Owen; and stepdaughters, Jessica McMinn and Katie Malone.
