George Pulido Sr. passed away surrounded by the prayers and love of his family and close friends on Monday, March 3, 2014.

Service: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday with rosary service at 7 p.m., at Moore Bowen Funeral Home.

He was born Dec. 14, 1947, in Michoacan, Mexico. George was a dedicated, hardworking family man devoted to the restaurant and so many wonderful employees and customers who flowed through his life. He enjoyed golf, hunting, working in his yard, baseball, and most of all time spent with his kids, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfonso Pulido.

Survivors: His daughter, Elizabeth Pulido Sullivan and her fiance, David Govea; his son, Jorge Pulido Jr. and wife, Jamie; his grandchildren, Christian John Sullivan, Sara Victoria Govea, Madison Ford, Bradyn Ford and Grace Ford; his mother, Jenoveva Pulido Casarez; brothers, Salvador Pulido and his wife, Juana, Jose Luis Pulido and his wife, Esther, Harvey Pulido and his wife, Laura, Alfonso Pulido and his wife, Hermila; sisters, Martha Pulido Quintero and her husband, Sergio, Ma de Jesus Pulido Saragosa, Lidia Pulido Torres and her husband, Mariano; former wife and mother of his children, Rosario Gonzalez; lifelong best friend, Hector Belmares; dearest and closest cousin, Pete Pulido Jr.; dear companion, Petra Galaviz; and so many more loving nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
